Vehicle Technician – Selly Oak, Birmingham
We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership workshop in Selly Oak, Birmingham. Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have at least 1 year of Vehicle Technician experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. MOT Tester status is advantageous but not essential.
Job Details
Location: Selly Oak, Birmingham
Salary: £32,000–£36,000 basic
Bonus: £6,000–£9,000 on top
Additional Payment: £91 per month for MOT-qualified Technicians
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, plus alternate Saturdays 8:30am–1:00pm paid as overtime

Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension and electrical faults
Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify vehicle faults
Complete repairs to a high standard
Record work completed and parts used accurately
Advise on repair requirements where needed
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environmentVehicle Technician Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic
Confident using diagnostic equipment and software
Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
MOT Tester Licence is advantageous but not essential
Full UK Driving Licence
