HGV Technician

Salary: Up to £56,160 per annum

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6am–6pm OR 6pm–6am

Location: Daventry

Contract: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Daventry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a 4-day working week, with the option of either day or night shifts and excellent overtime opportunities.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of a range of HGVs and trailers.

Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance on HGVs and trailers

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults

Completing inspections and preventative maintenance

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements

Working as part of a professional and supportive workshop team

Completing relevant paperwork and maintenance records

The Shifts

You can choose between:

Day Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6am–6pm

Night Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6pm–6am

About You

We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician who has a strong mechanical background and is confident working on commercial vehicles.

Previous experience as an HGV Technician / LGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician

Experience working on HGVs and/or trailers

Good mechanical and diagnostic skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team
