Aviation Technician – Emergency Slides & Life Rafts

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 depending on skills and experience

Location: Witham

Working pattern: Full time, Monday to Friday

Join Avia Technique, a UK aviation maintenance and repair centre specialising in critical safety and survival equipment. We are looking for a Technician to maintain and repair emergency slides and life rafts at our Witham facility.

What you’ll be doing

Carrying out maintenance and repair work in line with approved aviation data

Complying fully with regulatory frameworks and internal quality standards

Working closely with colleagues to manage and prioritise workload

Keeping a strong focus on accuracy, safety and attention to detail

What you’ll bring

Proven experience in a mechanical environment

A strong understanding of high-pressure systems

Familiarity with aviation maintenance standards and safety protocols

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

A proactive, detail-oriented and safety-conscious approach

Aviation experience is desirable but not essential
