  • Identify, document and report non-conformances.
  • Ensure the NDT facility maintains NADCAP standards and customer approvals.
  • Verify component quality before and after inspection.
  • Manage the safe handling, storage and disposal of testing materials and chemicals.
  • Monitor consumable stock levels and arrange replenishment where required.

  • Comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental procedures.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in NDT within an aerospace manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • EN 4179 Level 2 qualification in Liquid Penetrant Inspection, or an equivalent recognised qualification such as PCN Level 2.
  • Current certification and authorisation covering the relevant inspection method and scope.
  • Experience working within a NADCAP-approved NDT facility.
  • Strong knowledge of dye penetrant inspection techniques and aerospace quality requirements.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and customer orders.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP and aerospace quality standards.
  • Competence in using inspection equipment and precision measuring instruments.
  • Good computer skills for inspection records and quality documentation.
  • A methodical, detail-focused approach with strong communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

Benefits:

  • 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing after five years' service.
  • Healthcare employee contribution scheme.
  • Life assurance at four times your annual salary.
  • Company pension contribution of 3%.
