An established automotive business is seeking an experienced Motorhome / Caravan Technician to join its workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys working beyond standard vehicle servicing, with a varied workload covering habitation systems, electrical diagnostics, installations and interior repairs. You’ll play a key role in ensuring motorhomes and campervans are safe, fully functional and ready for customers.
Your role will include:
- Carrying out habitation services in line with NCC standards
- Diagnosing faults across electrical, water, heating and appliance systems
- Working with 12V and 240V electrical systems
- Completing damp checks and interior repairs
- Installing accessories, including solar panels, awnings, alarms and cameras
- Diagnosing battery and charging issues
- Preparing vehicles for sale and customer handover
- Completing repair reports and maintaining accurate job records
We’re looking for:
- Experience as a Motorhome, Caravan or Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of 12V and 240V electrical systems
- Basic plumbing and interior repair skills
- A methodical approach and high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence
NCC / AWS habitation certification, LPG or gas qualifications, and experience installing accessories would be advantageous, but are not essential.
