We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership in Walton-on-Thames. Applicants must have previous vehicle servicing and repair experience and hold a minimum Level 2 NVQ qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds). Previous main dealership experience is desirable but not essential.
Location: Walton-on-Thames
Salary: Up to £35,360 basic per annum, plus bonus and overtime, OTE up to £55,000 per annum
MOT Allowance: Additional £91 per month for qualified MOT Testers
Hours: Full Time, Permanent

Vehicle Technician Role
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Complete vehicle inspections and health checks
Identify additional repair and maintenance requirements
Carry out MOT testing if appropriately qualified
Complete accurate job cards and service records
Maintain high workshop quality and safety standards
Vehicle Technician Requirements
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician
Minimum Level 2 NVQ qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds), or equivalent
Strong servicing, maintenance and mechanical repair skills
Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
Previous main dealership experience desirable but not essential
Current MOT Tester Licence advantageous but not essential
