Ourclient based in Lanarkshire is looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join theirteam for Winter Gritting between October-March. Weekly standby rates & callout rates.

Your new role

You'll be driving theWinter Gritters to treat roads during icy and snowy conditions. You'll followplanned routes and respond to call-outs when needed. Shifts include nights andweekends.

Main duties include:

Operating HGV Class 2 gritting vehicles

Carrying out vehicle checks

Completing basic paperwork

Working flexibly across shiftsWhat you'll need to succeed

Valid HGV Class 2

CPC and Tachograph

Willingness to work in all weather conditions

Previous experience is helpful but not essentialWhat you'll get in return

Weekly standby rates & call out rates for nights/weekends

Call out rates: time and a half Mon-Sat, double time Sun

Training provided
