We are seeking an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician to join our established independent automotive service centre in Newport, specialising in premium vehicles. This Vehicle Technician role offers a salary of £45,000–£50,000 basic, depending on experience, plus an efficiency bonus of up to £1,000 per month.

- Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am–5:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break

Duties:
- Work as a Vehicle Technician within a close-knit team of five, reporting to the General Manager
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of premium vehicles
- Complete fault diagnosis and vehicle diagnostic work efficiently and accurately
- Carry out cambelt and timing chain replacements
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Support the team in achieving operational targets
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Confident completing diagnostic work and cambelt or timing chain replacements
- Formal automotive qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence with minimal penalty points
- Reliable, committed and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Motivation to contribute to the continued success of the business
