Our client is seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their busy automotive service department. This Service Advisor role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional or Senior Service Advisor ready to progress. £31,000–£32,000 basic salary, depending on experience
OTE of up to £40,000 with bonus opportunities

47 contracted hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm
Alternate Saturday mornings, 8.30am to 12.30pmDuties:
As the Service Advisor, welcome customers professionally and provide a consistently high standard of service
Discuss servicing, repair and maintenance requirements clearly and accurately
Record customer, vehicle and service history details correctly
Obtain customer authorisation and ensure job cards are completed accurately
Promote additional servicing, repairs, warranties, accessories and loyalty memberships
Maximise service sales and contribute to departmental profitability
Maintain accurate invoicing, job costing and payment records
Explain completed work and advise customers of future vehicle requirements
Liaise with workshop, parts, sales and administration teams
Manage customer queries and resolve concerns courteously and effectively
Contact customers regarding vehicle progress, completion and collection
Support and supervise the Service Desk team when requiredRequirements:
To succeed, previous experience in a similar automotive customer service role is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs and warranty procedures
Confidence handling customer queries and resolving concerns
Ability to process payments and maintain accurate records
Experience using computerised service department systems
Understanding of vehicle legislation and automotive trade practices
Service selling experience would be advantageous
