The Role

As a Level 3 HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing repairs efficiently and accurately
• Carrying out inspections and safety checks
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults
• Completing preventative maintenance
• Carrying out repairs to a high standard
• Completing workshop documentation accurately
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety requirements
• Working effectively as part of a professional workshop team

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent - essential
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on heavy commercial vehicles
• Good understanding of modern HGV systems
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional and reliable approach
• Full UK driving licence
