We are recruiting for an experienced Diagnostic Technician, Vehicle Diagnostic Technician or Automotive Technician to join a busy main dealership in Solihull. Applicants must have strong diagnostic experience within a dealership or busy workshop, hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Salary: Up to £39,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus
OTE: Up to £48,000+
Overtime: Paid, including Saturdays
Hours: Full Time

Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
Use manufacturer diagnostic systems and specialist equipment
Complete repairs to manufacturer standards
Support Vehicle Technicians with complex technical issues
Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (EVHCs) and identify additional work
Maintain accurate diagnostic reports and workshop recordsDiagnostic Technician Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ Diploma or equivalent)
Previous diagnostic experience within a main dealership or busy automotive workshop
Confident using diagnostic equipment and interpreting fault data
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
Methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
Full UK Driving Licence
Right to work in the UK
