We are recruiting a Vehicle Service Advisor to join our busy Service Department at a multi-franchise approved car dealership in Salisbury, Wiltshire. This Vehicle Service Advisor role offers excellent long-term career prospects with a family-owned and financially secure business operating for more than 30 years.

Salary: Up to £33,000 basic salary, plus a monthly bonus with uncapped on-target earnings of up to £40,000+ per annum after training.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break, plus one in three Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm on a rota.Benefits:

As a Vehicle Service Advisor, greet customers and provide a professional, welcoming experience

Manage workloads and customer deadlines by allocating tasks effectively

Liaise closely with the workshop and chase work in progress

Keep customers fully informed about vehicle progress and completion times

Provide accurate updates regarding servicing, repairs and additional work

Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services

Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and communication

Work collaboratively with the Service Manager and wider dealership teamRequirements:

The successful Vehicle Service Advisor will have strong communication and organisational skills

One to two years’ current or recent experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor within a franchise-approved dealership is desirable

Candidates from outside the motor trade may be considered where they have relevant customer service experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and dealership management systems is required; Kerridge or Keyloop experience is advantageous

A full, clean UK driving licence with minimal points is essential
