We are recruiting an Assistant Service Manager to join our Cheltenham dealership and support the continued success of our busy aftersales department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to progress within a large, multi-franchise-approved dealer group.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, with negotiable Saturday morning rota requirements.Duties:
Support the Service Manager with the daily operation of the aftersales department.
Assist in leading and motivating six to seven Vehicle Technicians and three Service Advisors.
Help ensure effective utilisation of workshop facilities and efficient labour sales.
Maintain high operational standards and support continuous improvements in customer satisfaction.
Promote a positive working environment and uphold our reputation for excellent service.
As an Assistant Service Manager, contribute proactively to management decisions and departmental performance.Requirements:
Recent or current experience as an Assistant Service Manager, Senior Service Advisor, Workshop Controller or in a similar aftersales management role.
Experience within a medium-to-large franchise-approved car dealership.
Strong leadership, communication and team-supporting skills.
A proactive, commercially aware approach with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Good IT literacy and the ability to manage operational processes effectively.
A full UK driving licence with minimal points.
Applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Cheltenham.
