Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Saturday Rota: 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm

The Role - Vehicle Technician

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of servicing, maintenance, repair and diagnostic work across a range of vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
  • Diagnosing faults and identifying the cause of mechanical and technical issues.
  • Completing diagnostic work and reporting findings accurately.
  • Conducting vehicle health checks and identifying any additional work required.
  • Completing all work in line with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
  • Working closely with the Service and Workshop teams to ensure excellent customer service.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this Vehicle Technician position, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair - essential.
  • At least 3 years' experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
  • Good all-round mechanical and technical knowledge.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Your own tools and toolbox.
  • A full UK manual driving licence.
