We are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our established main dealership in Dorchester, Dorset. This Vehicle Technician position offers the opportunity to work within a small, supportive team, handling a varied range of passenger and commercial vehicles. With strong staff retention and excellent long-term prospects, this is an attractive opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician seeking a stable weekday role.

Benefits:

Basic salary of up to £35,000

Expected earnings of approximately £45,000 through a productivity-related bonus scheme

Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am to 5:30pm

No Saturday working

Varied workload across passenger and commercial vehiclesDuties:

As a Vehicle Technician, carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults

Work confidently across a varied range of passenger and commercial vehicles

Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional work required

Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in line with manufacturer and dealership standards

Maintain accurate records of completed work

Contribute positively to a small, close-knit workshop team

Support the continued development and success of the departmentRequirements:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician

Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

Ability to work across a range of vehicles

Commercial vehicle experience would be advantageous

Professional, reliable and conscientious approach

Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a small team

Commitment to high standards of workmanship and customer service
