We are recruiting for an experienced Panel Technician to join our client's busy accident repair centre in Milton Keynes.

The Role

Working within a busy accident repair centre, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality vehicle body repairs and panel replacements, ensuring vehicles are restored to their pre-accident condition.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out vehicle body repairs and panel replacements to manufacturer standards.
• Assessing vehicle damage and identifying suitable repair methods.
• Removing, repairing and refitting vehicle body panels and associated components.
• Completing structural and non-structural panel repairs where required.
• Working on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Ensuring all repairs meet quality and manufacturer standards.
• Working alongside paint and MET technicians to ensure efficient vehicle repairs.

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Panel Technician, Panel Beater or Automotive Body Repair Technician.
• Experience working within an accident repair centre or automotive bodyshop.
• Strong vehicle panel repair, replacement and removal/refitting skills.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle construction and repair methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• A full UK driving licence.

ATA, NVQ, IMI or equivalent automotive body repair qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
