Are you an experienced EV Technician with a passion for diagnostics, vehicle electrics and the latest automotive technology?

We're looking for a talented EV Diagnostic Technician to join a well-equipped, forward-thinking workshop where quality of work matters and technical expertise is genuinely valued.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of your work, tackle interesting diagnostic challenges and develop your skills in a friendly, relaxed environment with excellent facilities and ongoing support.

The Opportunity

You'll be working hands-on with modern electric vehicles, carrying out a varied range of diagnostic and electrical work. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advanced EV diagnostics and complex fault finding.
  • General vehicle electrical diagnosis and repairs.
  • ADAS system diagnostics and calibration.
  • Wiring loom repairs, modifications and electrical fault tracing.
  • Assisting with basic mechanical work when required.

You'll have your own ramp, access to quality diagnostic equipment and the space to work independently, allowing you to focus on delivering work to a high standard.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is technically confident, enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in getting to the root of a fault.

You'll ideally have:

  • Minimum Level 3 EV qualification.
  • At least 2 years' hands-on EV experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical knowledge.
  • Experience working with ADAS systems and vehicle wiring.
  • A full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).

Additional skills that would be a bonus:

  • Level 4 EV qualification.
  • Multi-brand vehicle experience.
  • Experience using an oscilloscope.

What's In It For You?

Alongside a competitive salary, you'll be joining a workplace that offers the facilities, support and flexibility to do your job properly.

  • £40,000 – £60,000 basic salary, dependent on experience.
  • Overtime paid at time and a half.
  • Monday to Friday, 7:15am – 4:30pm (42.5 hours).
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Ongoing training and development.
  • Your own ramp and quality workshop equipment.
  • Free onsite parking.
  • Staff meals and a birthday meal.
  • Friendly, relaxed working environment.

The Hiring Process

The recruitment process will include an interview and a practical skills assessment, giving you the opportunity to demonstrate your technical ability.

If you're passionate about EV technology, enjoy getting stuck into challenging diagnostics and want to work somewhere that recognises the value of your expertise, we'd love to hear from you.
