We are recruiting an experienced MOT Technician to join our established automotive business in Croydon. This MOT Technician position offers a varied workload, a supportive workshop environment and excellent long-term career prospects.

Benefits:

Basic salary of up to £40,000, depending on experience

Monday to Friday, 8.00am–6.00pm

Every other Saturday, 8.00am–1.00pm

Professional and supportive workshop environment

Varied role covering servicing, repairs, diagnostics and MOT testing

Long-term opportunity with an established automotive businessDuties:

Work as an MOT Technician, completing servicing and general vehicle repairs

Carry out brake repairs, clutch replacements and other mechanical work

Complete basic vehicle diagnostics and identify faults efficiently

Conduct MOT tests where appropriately qualified

Maintain consistently high standards of workmanship, efficiency and productivity

Keep the workshop clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements

Communicate professionally with colleagues and customersRequirements:

Previous experience as an MOT Technician, or as an experienced Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician

Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

MOT Tester qualification preferred but not essential

Full and valid UK or EU driving licence

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

Well-organised, self-motivated and dependable approach
