We’re supporting an established UK specialist vehicle manufacturer looking to add aMechanical Chassis Design Engineerto its eight-person Chassis Engineering team.
This is a hands-on engineering role with genuine ownership across the full product lifecycle, frominitial concepts and component design through to validation, production support and solving real-world field issues.
There’s also scope to develop beyond component-level design intowider vehicle systems and project engineering responsibilities.
We’d be particularly interested in speaking with engineers fromyellow goods, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, commercial vehicles, trailers, tankers, specialist vehicles, material handling or other heavy/mobile machinery environments.

Applying engineering fundamentals around stress, strain, fatigue, materials, fasteners and tolerances
Designing with manufacture, assembly, cost, quality and serviceability in mind
Resolving manufacturing, build and field issues through root-cause analysis
Working closely with suppliers, manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams
